Would You REALLY Like To Become A JEDI!
March 1st 2008 09:15
Thousands of Australians during a national census have been known in the past to put down their religion as being 'Jedi'.
Now it seems the first 'Jedi Church' is in the makings thanks to brothers Barney and Daniel Jones of Anglesey, Wales
They claim to have up to 400,000 members worldwide, with 80 of those physically in Anglesey, and base their religion on the teachings of Yoda to promote inner peace.
Taking their religion seriously, they have also offered to start up lightsabre fighting classes when construction in completed.
It's certainly not the first time this type of 'religion' has sprung up. After all, Scientology was born out of the science fiction writings of Ron L. Hubbard.

I mean why not? After all the Jedi are all about very noble beliefs so I think that the basics of the Jedi order are well worth looking into as a religion.
Become Jedi, I shall.

Just to let you know, the cloest thing to the Jedi knights on star war, was the Shaling monks during...I think it was around the 5AC.
I am probably going to write about it within one of my next few posts, but I want to get some of my facts correct first.

We are the first to be actually incorporated as a non-profit tax exempt religious corporation and donations to us are tax exempt by 501(c)3 of the IRS code just like any other church.
You can look us up in the public records of The State of Texas here:
