Melissa,

I love your facts!!! I'm an insomniac, so sleep facts are especially interesting to me.

The fact about not noticing the effects of sleep deprevation after a while is so true. Last week, for the 1st time in a number of months I was plagued by a bout of insomnia. I managed to get 12 hours sleep across 4 nights. But the 3 day I barely noticed the difference. The first 2 days i was a bit of a zombie.

Mind you, I still don't think I should have been driving to and from work by the end of the week!!!

I have not heard of that one before but i have heard that sharks do it cause if they stop swimming they drown. Something about they shut down half their brain and swim in a circle and when they start it up and shut down the other half of their brain they swim in a circle the other way round.

I want to know how accurate this information is. Where did you get it from? Have ALL of these things been scientifically proven? And if so, you should probably reference where you got them from...it might help to be more believable...!
