Well PNC have of course updated their figures for the current year with the following results.
For the Year 2007, the actual cost of the gifts in the Twelve Days of Christmas is as follows:
* One Partridge in a Pear Tree: $164.99 - up 13.8%.
* Two Turtle Doves: $40.00 - still steady at $20.00 each.
* Three French Hens: $45.00 - still steady at $15.00 each.
* Four Calling Birds: $599.96 - $149.99 each, up 25%.
* Five Gold Rings: $395.00 - $79.00 each, up 21.5%
* Six Geese-a-Laying: $360.00 - $60.00 each, up 20%.
* Seven Swans-a-Swimming: $4,200.00 - still steady at $600.00 each.
* Eight Maids-a-Milking: $46.80 - $5.85 each, up 13.6%.
* Nine Ladies Dancing: $4,759.00 - still steady at $528.80 each.
* Ten Lords-a-Leaping: $4,285.06 - $428.50 each, up 3%.
* Eleven Pipers Piping: $2,213.40 -$201.22 each, up 4.2%.
* Twelve Drummers Drumming: $2,397.85 – $199.82 each, up 4.2%.
The grand total of the song for this year - $19,507.25.
