EXPLODING COWS!!!

There is an urban myth that if a cow isn't milked it will explode. If this were true we would have all heard many reports of cows exploding in this way. However the milk load carried by a cow can be quite painful if it is not milked on a regular basis.

Dairy cows make milk for their calves and will keep on supplying milk until the need has run out. As milking on a regular basis makes the cow produce a steady stream of milk, she will keep on doing so until she is allowed to 'dry out' gradually before possibly beginning the calving season again.

However, if you like the sound of cows exploding from not being milked, then you might like to try out this little online game. Just don't forget to empty the bucket regularly!
