Not REALLY The Sort Of BANK to ROB!!!

In India this week a man was arrested by police after having robbed a bank of a different kind.

We've all heard the old jokes about the Irishman robbing the sperm bank by mistake, but it appears in this case that the sperm bank stolen from in this news item was indeed the actual target.

It's believed he was apprehended while trying to sell the 'samples'.

Not really the sort of commodity you expect to be sold on the street corner. It's an awfully long jump to that from "Pssst....Wanna buy a watch!"!

As far as I know of, there were no takers.

Burglar Not Really THAT Interested In FENCING!

Recently in Hungary, a burglar out on the prowl, climbed the fence of what he considered to be a prime target in a posh area of Budapest, only to be confronted by fencing of a different sort.

Virgine Ujlaky, 23, of the Olympic Fencing team was practicing her swordplay when she saw Pal Nagy, 43, climb in through the window of her house. She deftly pinned him up against the wall with her sword at his throat while she rang police.

In 1994, a fundamentalist group in Jordan began a series of terror attacks on a selected group of sites that were involved in the selling of alcohol and other associated 'evils'.

One member of the group was sent with a sizeable explosive device to a cinema that was screening Turkish soft-core pornography.

STUPIDITY And BRIDGING The GAP!

A 45 year old man has been arrested and charged with stealing a local bridge.

The 5 metre, metal bridge was located just south of Moscow and spanned a small river. In what the police called the 'bulkiest theft of the year', the man who was employed as a truck driver, used his company vehicle to transport the bridge, which he then chopped up and sold off as scrap metal.
