I remember there was a girl in my year when I was in high school all those years ago when that song - I think it was the Rockmelons - came out with the lyrics - "I won’t let it get me down, change my smile into a frown).
With that particular line “change my smile into a frown” – she was heard to be singing “Chain my body to a plough.”
