During Persia's 10th century, the ruling grand Vizier had amassed a private library collection of a considerable size - 117,000 books..

The almost unbelievable part about this however, is that he took his entire library with him whenever he went travelling. How did he manage this?

He had the books loaded up onto the backs of camels who had been specifically trained to walk in alphabetical order!

Yes, these are actual book titles!this is the sort of thing you discover when you're very sick. OK I wasn't referring to that kind of sickness but it still counts I guess!
