Baby Fun Facts
May 15th 2006 01:06
In a little bit of a homage to mothers day (In Australia), today's fun facts are going to be baby fun facts, followed by a little bit of mothers day history.
Fun fact 1:
Babies skulls are not completely joined, which allows it to flex during birth and I imagine would make it all a bit easier on the mother. See babies are (kind of) considerate towards their mother from birth...what an example.
Fun Fact 2:
This head also accounts for about one quarter of a babies weight. So all mothers should blame the head for the weight they have to carry around in pregnancy.
Fun Fact 3:
Many people believe that mothers day developed froman ancient Greek celebration of mother worship, which was shown through a festival to Cybele and Rhea, two Greek gods that represented motherhood.
Happy mothers day for yesterday, enjoy the baby fun facts,
Adam
