SORRY BUT I'M NOT DEAD YET!!!

People who reportedly 'died' before they did!

* Bertrand Russell (British mathematician) - reported in print as having died in 1937, had to have his obituary reprinted when he actually died in 1970.

* Mark Twain (author) - A US newspaper reported that he had died in 1897. When someone attempted to confirm the grim news, they were met by a living, breathing Twain who uttered the famous words..."Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated."

* Lord Baden Powell (Scouting Founder) - reported as having been shot for spying during WW1, died in 1941 while not spying in WW2.
It has actually been said that during WW1, even though he volunteered his services, he had been given no orders to follow as Lord Kitchener stated that "he could lay his hand on several competent divisional generals but could find no one who could carry on the invaluable work of the Boy Scouts."

* Alfred Nobel it is said came up with the idea of the Nobel Peace Prize after the appalling report in a French newspaper of his death in 1888. He thought his obituary sounded that bad that he decided to have his legacy live on in a more positive light! He died just 8 years later.

You probably thought george W. Bush was the only US president to make faux pas such as "You're free. And freedom is beautiful. And, you know, it'll take time to restore chaos and order—order out of chaos. But we will."

And of course my personal favourite,"Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB/GYN's aren't able to practice their love with women all across the country."
