I must confess my own Hound of Terror is in the above named Australian list.
But that's only because I named her after the first bottle of expensive perfume I ever received when I was 18. (Gee, like that doesn't narrow it all down for you to guess her name.)
But at least I didn't do what one guy I know of did - he named his first dog "Bundy", with designs on aquiring a second dog just so he could call it "Coke". (For those who don't know, Australia's own bottled rum is called Bundaberg Rum, affectionately known as 'Bundy', so Bundaberg rum and Coca-Cola is known around here as 'Bundy & Coke".)
