Notable Superstitions

Superstition - it's everywhere, but if you're the superstitious sort then you're certainly not alone. There have been some very notable figures of times past and present who are affected by their superstions.
One example is Queen Elizabeth II who upon being presented with a gift of cutlery gave a half-penny in return as to accept knives without some form of payment risks cutting the 'ties of friendship'.
Winston Churchill believed Fridays were unlucky and avoided travel on that day, but if he had to go he would take along a 'lucky' cane.
American president Roosevelt also avoided travelling on Fridays and also would not sit at the same table that held thirteen other people.
Adolph Hitler was extremely superstitious as I've mentioned earlier in the post about the Spear Of Destiny.
Missy Elliott is so superstitious about black cats crossing her path that regardless of her destination, should the aforementioned occur she will immediately turn around and go home.
Tiger woods considers that red is his lucky colour and can't play without it.
