But actually he's not alone. One of his famous predecessors was also known for the odd slip up or two!

Ronald Regan also made the odd error or 2, including when he called Princess Diana, the Princess Of Wales, "Princess David", not forgetting the infamous speech on Third world countries where he stated that " The United States has much to offer the Third World War!"

One of the best ones came from an incident where he was unaware during a microphone check that they were actually broadcasting live.

"My fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes."

1. W.C. Fields would sometimes stretch out in a barber's chair, complete with barbers towels to nod off.

Notable Superstitions

Superstition - it's everywhere, but if you're the superstitious sort then you're certainly not alone. There have been some very notable figures of times past and present who are affected by their superstions.

One example is Queen Elizabeth II who upon being presented with a gift of cutlery gave a half-penny in return as to accept knives without some form of payment risks cutting the 'ties of friendship'.
