Now that we are all out celebrating the new year and imbibing that sweet substance known to man as alcohol, I thought reminding everyone of a few translations might now be in order.
It seems Vodka has more usefulness to it than just getting people inebriated.

For all the uni students out there, did you know that in ancient Mesopotamia they had a goddess of beer. Her name is Siris and her priestesses brewed beer (possibly as part of a ritual??).
Now I don't like beer myself (I know, I know, what sort of man am I), but I still think we should all pay tribute to a culture that invented beer in the form that we know it and then worshipped the beverage once they had done so.
