* Four Calling Birds: $599.96 - $149.99 each, stable this year again.
* Five Gold Rings: $650 - a 30% increase.
* Six Geese-a-Laying: $150.00 - exactly the same as last year.
* Seven Swans-a-Swimming: $5,600, back up again by 5.67%.
* Eight Maids-a-Milking: $7.25 an hour and unchanged from 2009.
* Nine Ladies Dancing: $6,273 – up another 15%.
* Ten Lords-a-Leaping: $4,767 - an increase of 8%.
* Eleven Pipers Piping: $2,354 – a 3.1% increase.
* Twelve Drummers Drumming: $2,553 - an increase of 3.1%
As for the grand total of the gifts for the song this year.... after a 9.2% increase and the largest increase since 2003, the resulting total cost for 2010 is $23,439.38.
